Stepped on the scale this morning. Decent news. I’m down 2.4 lbs from last week’s weigh in…however, I’m only down .2 lbs since I sneaked a step on the scale Monday morning. Boo! Oh well, I’m just happy I didn’t gain. I definitely could have done better and I plan to do just that next week.
Tomorrow is a 7 mile run, so that’s a really good way to start the week (I should burn about 1000 calories). Also, my strength training sessions for week 2 of this current workout I’m doing will be more intense…of course, the ones from this week weren’t intense at all, so yeah. Then I run again on Tuesday. I’m thinking of running on Thursday since I’m running the 5K next Saturday. I, of course, still fully plan to run the Sunday after the 5K…mainly because I don’t think running 3 miles one day and then 6 the next will “hurt” me.
I was hoping that my gym would have a mid-morning spin class during the week sometime that I could do to augment my Saturday long ride outside. However, all they have are 5:30am classes. That means I would have to get up no later than 4:30am. Yea, I get home from work at 10:30pm…I’m not sure I can do that turn around. I guess I’ll try, though. I’d really like 2 days of cycling a week and having one of them as a spin class could definitely do me some good. Oooooor…I could do time in the pool…swim for either like 30 minutes or do a set amount of laps. We’ll see if I can make the 5:30am spin class next Wednesday before I make any final decisions on the matter.
